The role of women in the Egyptian revolution was revealed in countless media sources during the protests at Tahir Square.

A new project titled Video Messages: Words of Women from the Egyptian Revolution, aims to digitally capture the stories of women who were active in the uprisings, to ensure that their personal accounts survive as historical memories of Egypt.  The footage is also a tool for women empowerment everywhere and a source for researchers, students and everyone interested in the matter.

Each short video will be similar to a “profile” of each woman: her life/work before the revolution, her participation in the revolution, and where she and her work stand today.

Find out more information about this important project HERE, and donate if you can!

I think we need to bring more ideas for this purpose. Involvement of young people can be handy in this regard. I am happy to find a good post here. Thank you
