Women Voices Now’s mission is to empower women and give voice to the struggle for civil, economic and political rights. Founded in January 2010, look at what we’ve accomplished in such a short time!

- We created a world-class resource on women’s rights in the Muslim world* by compiling a collection of 98 films from 40 countries, all of which are first hand accounts.

- We engaged people in 160 countries in a robust, nuanced and wide-ranging dialogue about women’s rights in general and in the Muslim world* in particular.

- We inspired thousands of people to join the global movement for gender equality.

Your Gift will assist our continued growth and enable us to:

- Host film screenings and panel discussions before national and international audiences in universities, theatres, cultural centers and offices.

- Create a mentorship and a scholarship program coupling our filmmakers with American film industry executives and American universities to further develop their skills and open future opportunities to fight for women’s rights.

- Hold a Second WVN Short-Film Festival giving voice to underrepresented women.

* Women of all faiths and backgrounds living in Muslim-majority countries and Muslim women around the world.
