Since 2010, Women’s Voices Now (WVN) has used film to advance women’s rights globally. From local screenings to a worldwide digital presence, our work has uplifted voices and driven social change. In the last three years, our marketing efforts have expanded our reach to millions, sparking important conversations. Here is our growth from 2022 to 2024.

Marketing Spend and Our Commitment to Growth.

At WVN, we understand that to amplify women’s voices, we need to be heard. Our marketing investment grew significantly, from $6,949 in 2022 to $25,535 in 2024. These resources were essential in driving our message further, amplifying women’s voices, and supporting the expansion of our core programs:

Expanding Our Digital Reach Through Google.

Our targeted online campaigns helped drive a dramatic increase in impressions, from 2.2 million in 2022 to 48.3 million in 2024. In addition to the growth in paid YouTube views, which rose from 246,379 in 2022 to over 1.76 million in 2024, we saw remarkable growth in organic views. 

Organic YouTube views surged from 17,431 in 2022 to 478,861 in 2024, highlighting the growing interest and relevance of our content.

Reaching Arabic-speaking Audiences.

A key milestone in our growth was the success of our outreach in Arabic-speaking countries. Our YouTube views grew from 24,186 in 2022 to over 415,524 in 2024, underscoring the impact of our work in amplifying women’s voices in these regions.

YouTube Monetization Milestone.

On November 1st, 2024, we reached a significant milestone: monetizing our YouTube channel by achieving 4,000 organic watch hours within a year. This achievement reflects the growing engagement and support from our audience.

Moving forward, we are setting up strategies to generate sustainable revenue while continuing to produce content that resonates with the YouTube audience and aligns with our mission of advocating for women’s rights and empowerment.

A Journey of Learning and Adaptation with Meta.

Our Meta content saw an initial decrease in impressions and reach between 2022 and 2023. In 2024, we shifted our strategies by boosting a wide range of content including blog posts, events, stories, and programs across our Meta platforms. These efforts led to impressions growing to over 8.2 million, with our video views also seeing significant recovery. 

Experimenting with new platforms has been key to refining our digital strategy, allowing us to understand how best to engage different audiences.

Exploring New Territories with Twitter.

In 2023, we introduced Twitter Ads into our Digital Strategy to diversify our marketing efforts and promote some posts from our Women Making Waves blog. Impressions reached over 1 million in the first year thanks to a viral post, and though they declined in 2024, the insights we gained from these campaigns will help inform our future strategy.

Leveraging LinkedIn for Professional Impact.

In 2023, we initiated LinkedIn campaigns to connect with professionals and expand our network. Our investment of $1,319.18 resulted in 91,099 impressions. By 2024, we learned from past campaigns and increased spending to $1,669.45 and saw impressions grow to 513,648. This significant growth reflects our strategic focus on reaching professionals through impactful content, including blog posts, events, and other key programs such as Girls’ Voices Now.

In addition to impressions, we successfully reached diverse audiences across different countries, extending our influence globally.
