Asheng Synopsis

Asheng is about seven women who live in a frontier village in south-eastern Iran band together for survival while their husbands are incarcerated due to drug charges. They forge a plan to have the men released from prison.

Asheng is directed by Mohammad Sadeq Esmaeili. This documentary is his first professional film.
