Standing with Moms Synopsis

The short documentary “Standing With Moms” follows the journey of two inspiring women, Yesmine – a single Black mother who is a recipient of the Mother Up Guaranteed Income Pilot which helps lift her from poverty and in turn keeps her united with her children; and Melody – an accomplished attorney and founder of Mother’s Outreach Network which supports single BIPOC mothers and their children throughout Washington DC. Poverty is not neglect, and this pilot provides cash assistance with no strings attached for 3 years to mothers in need. To learn more, visit the Standing With Moms social impact campaign at: https://mothersoutreachnetwork.org/standing-with-moms-film/
