Synopsis

Chronic sexual harassment causes psychological trauma in the form of depression, anxiety, panic attacks, and/or stress. Women internalize their anger toward a misogynist society, which only celebrates women who turn against each other.

Vomit II was an official selection of the 2014 WVN Online Film Festival.

About the Filmmaker

Celia Eslamieh Shomal is an Iranian born artist based in Enschede Nederland. In 2003, she received a degree in Mathematics from the University of Guilan in Iran, and in 2006, she moved to The Netherlands to study Visual Art at Hogeschool voor de Kunsten.
