About the Film:
After facing a transphobic assault in her evangelical church, Mel Rosário, a 56-year-old transgender woman, takes a stand. She protests outside the church that banned her and fights for justice in court. Set against the backdrop of Bolsonarist Brazil, this film follows Mel’s journey of reinvention and survival as she challenges systemic oppression.
